Devereux Arizona provides an array of behavioral health and social welfare services for children, adolescents and families.
Our treatment plans emphasize the importance and involvement of the client's family. We serve children, adolescents, and families in our outpatient offices, in their homes, in school, after school, in group homes, in therapeutic foster care homes and in residential treatment centers, offering various levels of treatment intensity in age-specific programs.
A multidisciplinary team approach is utilized with an emphasis on cognitive, behavioral, developmental and family systems treatment orientations. We provide optimal opportunities for therapeutic change, by offering a comprehensive range of treatment services.With a commitment to advanced treatment programs, and dedication to ongoing staff training, we are able to offer a unique continuum of behavioral health and social welfare services. All programs are aimed at facilitating change both individually and within the family to allow the client to function successfully in his/her community. |
Prevention Programs
Outpatient Counseling services are provided to individuals, families and groups with behavioral and emotional difficulties. Devereux also has an intensive case management program for individuals in need of more extensive treatment. Family involvement is an essential component of this process. More >>
In-home Services are provided to families working toward preservation or reunification. Counseling, behavior management, parenting and case management are designed to prevent child abuse out of home placements.
Sweetwater Campus Programs
Residential Treatment Center (RTC), cares for youth with severe emotional and behavioral difficulties in need of stability and structure. The RTC is a 24-hour supportive treatment environment and offers a full range of psychiatric and therapeutic services. More >>

Adult Foster Care provides structured home settings for adults with serious mental illness.
Community Respite gives foster care and family-based shelter providers, as well as biological and adoptive parents in the community, a planned, brief break from their responsibilities as caregivers.
Family-based Shelter Care offers short-term crisis services to children who require a temporary out-of-home placement.
Group Care provides a family environment and cares for children and teens until they transition into a home, long-term foster care or independent living.
Therapeutic Foster Care pairs children experiencing behavioral difficulties with a special group of foster parents that are extensively trained to care for the child's intense needs. This program is designed to prepare children for permanent placement with their biological family, an adoptive home or independent living. | | |
